creating amazing
digital experiences.
Design adventures.
I’ve been working as a designer for 13 years. In that time I’ve seen the industry change massively, and every time the industry changes, I do too. Over time, I’ve mastered different technologies and programmes – and I’ve been lucky enough to be able to unleash them on some really high-profile projects. I take pride in being able to support my clients to get the business outcomes they need, whilst making them look amazing too!
Of course, I started at the bottom. Where else, right? In 2006 I learnt the ropes as a junior designer, working for a small design firm after university. Every day, I would design and build emails and small websites – it really was a dream come true! This little studio was the ideal place to put my Digital/Multimedia degree into practice and as I got to grips with the basics everything else snowballed into place. I began to add Flash Animation, (Adobe Animate) and Photoshop into my toolkit, along with languages such as Javascript.
Before long, I had built a reputation as a strong front-end developer.
One of the hallmarks of my career in design has been a constant desire to take it to the next level. So, back in 2015 I started to learn UX and UI. I studied everything I could on the subject (yes, I know how to live) and, when I became certified, I began to create wireframes and prototypes using Balsamiq. N.B. it’s not a salad dressing.
Fast forward a few years and, here I am, the Digital Designer I always wanted to be. A complete one-stop-shop for web design – taking your idea through sketches, wireframes, UI and build.
My job is always exciting, because every website I create, brings with it fresh ideas, objectives and results. No two projects are the same and I’m always looking for the next challenge. Put simply – I deliver simple solutions in a creative way.
